My Block&White deodorant powder and Biolink lotion experience

Two prods in one review!

That's how lazy I am (Insert evil laugh).

Ok, first off, the deodorant powder. It has:

  • Natural Tawas to eliminate odor-causing bacteria without irritating or darkening the skin;
  • Anti-perspirant that provides all-day protection from wetness, which is often the cause of itching and odor;
  • Talc Powder that provides silky smooth application, keeping skin soft and dry.

Hmm.. I was curious. I thought it was like in a gel-form that turns into powder afterwards. So I decided to try one, and- gee- I forgot how much it costs. Hihi. I think it's somewhere from 30 - 40 php. Just correct me if I'm wrong. :P

So. I tried it,and I was surprisd that it was all-powdery, not the gel- like form I was expecting. I put it on, and it smelled OK.

The whole day I stayed at home and did my chores like cleaning the house. Afterwards, I exercised with sit- ups, stationary jogging, and a bit of push-ups.Oh, well. The exercise does not have any effect on me; blame it on my Mom's good ol' lutong bahay.Hihi.

Anyway. I'm sad to report that this prod is not for me. Because I started to smell funky. Unlike my trusty Rexona deo-stick activreserve in Silk, my underarms still smell oh-so-good (hehe) after a whole day. And I don't worry about having sweaty armpits with it. With the Block&White, my underarms felt sticky (eeeew).Anyway, it didn't work for me, but maybe it would work for others. Others who aren't sweaty monsters like me. Grrroowwll.

On to the 2nd prod, the new Biolink lotion Anne Curtis is endorsing. What caught me in the ad was a line that said something like "non- greasy" or "non-sticky". I really hate lotions that are very greasy,especially at this time of the year, when it's uber hot. So, I bought a variant in Day Defense, with SPF 20. It smelled really good so I slathered some on my arms and legs. After a few minutes--Aack! Greaseville!!!!!!

Sigh. Anyway, since I did not like both prods, my Mom was more than happy to adopt them.

Hihi. ^_^

hey girl..glad to read your reviews..hey if you're looking for grease-free lotion, for local brand, you can try the Silka papaya...it's super NOT greasy and it smells super nice!! Kinda like bath and body :)

with the deo...you may try nivea..or yes, you're right rexona sounds way much better. Mine, I use secret and i'm not sweaty kc :) at least you're mom is too cute to adopt them :D

Hmm..thanks for the suggestion!I might try the Silka, because I like products with Papaya in them hihi.

And my mom is always snooping around my room,asking, "Are there other things you don't want to use anymore?" :P

great..tell me what you think. Me personally, I would love to use Silka but because my skin is "uber" dry, i have to buy something really oil based :) Hope it works for you :)
