Yep! You got that righty!
I never really paid attention to my lashes before ( Or any eye makeup, for that matter, sans the eyeliner ), hence, the eye-poking issues I have whenever I (attempt) to put masacara on, or the welling up of tears, when I try to line my upper lashline. Gawd, I just suck at eye makeup. Anyhoo, from my love at browsing through different makeup sites, I just can't help but admire how curly lashes really open up the eyes. Ah, so beautiful. So. One day, while browsing through shelves of beauty prods at Watson's, (With an annoying saleslady in tow, I just wanted to snap at her, "WTF, I have money to burn!" which, we all, know, is not the truth.), I found this:
Erm...LOL. It's not sold like that, but I can assure you, it has a nice packaging ( In some sort of tough plastic packaging) to ensure that it's not in anyway damaged or something like that. Great. I really suck in giving descriptions. Anyhoo, it's battery-operated (2 AAA's), and costs only 129 php. So. I was doing the math:

Beeeeeyyoooottifuull!!! So I instantly grabbed it and headed to the nearest counter. And here's me trying it out:
Just the mascara. Aack. My lashes are stick- straight.
After curling.
OK, so the pics proved that I'm an idiot for curling my lashes for the first time. Hihi. At first, I was wary of having my lashes and my lids burned, but I found it harmless! It does heat up, but not the clothes- iron ouchy kind of heat. It's perfectly safe, even if it presses too close to your lids.

Ahhh just kiddin'. Anyhoo, now all I need is a Fasio hyperstay mascara ( Which I've been itching to buy, grrr) to help my curl stay put. :D

Ohh thanks for this, I always see this at Watsons, wanted to buy but always a "NO" for me because of the battery hehehe
Well..go for the Fasio Hyperstay, it really works!!!! but i just found it a bit drying on my lashs coz of the waterproof version :)
oh.. haha! is it really your first? a good eyelash curler is a great investment. ;-)
i often see this at Watsons too. I guess I'm gonna give it a try.
@nikki: waaahhh...tlga?it's drying?sna hndi maubos lashes ko sa fasio..lol! :P
@liz: yup!i had a lot of doubts about these things before...i was scared, at first, of my lids getting caught in between those curlers...ouch! :P
so far... I've been alternating it with other mascaras :) hehehe so far..i dont' lose lashes pa naman :D
I use a good eyelash curler i bought at Sephora in Milan, where's a Shu Uemura corner, but is a traditional no model, battery -less. Yeah is such a good investment for your look, the result is great on your lashes!
About mascara my fav is Chanel Inimitable in "brun noir", cause it works out for my lashes naturally long. The finishing is natural and light, i forgot the sticky result of others mascara. When i need a drama queen look for my lashes i use Dior show mascara in black, or Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen mascara, in wild black.
my first ever eyelash curler is shu uemura's, been using it for 5+ years and it still is wonderful. i'm itching to try this too tho. thanks for the review! :)
as for the mascara... i'm clueless. i've been using maybelline, stilla, mac, l'oreal and they all look the same to me. haha!
nikki: i-must-get-fasio-now! lol!
alice: hi alice!everyone is really raving about the shu uemura eyelash curler...hmm...i am so tempted to buy one..waaahhh..thanks for dropping by! ^_^
sab: yup..i'm still pretty much clueless when it comes to mascara..i STILL keep poking my eye when i apply it..grrr. :P thanks for stopping by! ^_^
